2024 Speaking Engagements
Shamanism for Inspired Action
Sacred Earth Activism co-founder Christa Mackinnon and steering group member John “Crow” Mackinnon will be featured speakers at the free global gathering ‘Shamanism for Inspired Action – From Vision to Creation’, 20th – 24th May 2024.
The gathering organisers write: ‘During this global gathering we will discuss the process of bringing our vision to creation. As we work with the invisible realms, we will see that some experiences can trigger instantaneous responses. At other times, vision can take longer to blossom and expand. We will explore what is possible when the invisible realms are acknowledged and honoured, and when Nature is loved and celebrated as a part of ourselves.
Sacred Earth Gathering
Sacred Earth Activism are excited to be holding a space for Sacred Earth Activism ceremonies, workshops, and talks at the upcoming Crops-not-Shops Sacred Earth Roots & Culture Gathering.
This 4-day celebration honours our sacred tribes and inspirational changemakers, focusing on the regeneration of Mother Earth. It runs from the 20th-24th June 2024
Sacred Earth Activism will lead a space for sacred activism, featuring speakers, Earth talks, ceremonies, and workshops.

Temple Uprising - Glastonbury Festival
Co-founder Jonathan Weekes is honoured and excited to be invited to speak at the Temple Stage, Glastonbury Festival, on the topic of "Grounding our Activism in the Sacred."
This panel discussion will be part of the The Common’s “Temple Uprising” program, exploring personal and collective liberation.
Into the Wild
Co-founders Jonathan Weekes and Christa Mackinnon are looking forward to being at Into the Wild this year, and having the chance to speak about how we can become guardians for our sacred landscapes, sharing plans for a Sacred Lands Charter.
This festival will be taking place in Sussex on 22-26 August 2024.
Mercian Gathering - Sacred Land, Sacred Waters
This year, Mercian Gathering is focusing on the theme of “Sacred Land, Sacred Waters”. Sacred Earth Activism co-founder, Jonathan Weekes, will be speaking about how we can become guardians for our sacred landscapes, sharing plans for a Sacred Lands Charter.
The Mercian Gathering is an annual pagan camp, held within ceremony and sacred space near Coventry, on 30 August - 1 September.

Spirit of Awen Camp - August 2023 - co-founder Jonathan Weekes held a talk entitled,“Sacred Activism: Voices of the Earth”, sharing stories and approaches of how we can weave sacred practice into action in service of the earth and her protection.
“Heart of Living Yoga - Heart of the Matter “ - co-founder Jonathan Weekes was Guest Speaker on this online course, a session entitled “Creating and Nurturing Alternative Systems”, speaking with participants about Sacred Activism, and how our spiritual paths and practice can support our wider efforts for change.
Oak Spirit Gathering 2022 - co-founder Jonathan Weekes held at talk and workshop on Sacred Activism during this annual residential shamanic gathering, speaking about the Water is Life movement of sacred activism, and it’s importance in these times of change with ceremony and shamanic practice
