The oak, the mighty tree that is central to Druidry, that gives Druidry its name: oak wisdom, stands strong in the forest protecting and supporting the life in and around it.

The oak, supporting more species than other trees, leading among leaders, sharing its strength with others and forming a strong part of the web of life and the web of the forest.

The oak that grows from the tiny acorn spreads its seed with the help of the woodland creatures, planting new oaks to take its place in the woodland in the centuries to come.

We will draw up the spirit of the oak for leadership, leadership that grows from tiny acorns to magnificent oaks.

Leadership of ourselves to be in right relationship with all that is around us, to act in a responsible way, to learn and to teach. Leadership of our communities, to foster cooperation and interdependence. Leadership of our world, to speak out against injustice and ecocide, to speak for those who have no voice.
